Thursday Beginner Beach Volleyball Clinic – Sorrento Beach

Join us for a fun and engaging beach volleyball clinic at Sorrento Beach led by Mark Beltran (PHD- Perfect Hand Dig) one of the most experienced coaches in the game. Designed for beginner and developing players, this clinic focuses on building confidence, improving fundamental skills, and learning how to play smarter in real game situations.
With more than 35 years of coaching experience in both indoor and beach volleyball, Mark has worked with athletes at every level, from beginners to elite competitors. His coaching emphasizes strong defensive systems, technical skill development, movement on the sand, and volleyball IQ, helping players understand not just how to perform a skill, but when and why to use it during competition.

Coach Evan - Specializing in Jump serving, Blocking and Hitting.
Coach Stu - Specializing in transition defense, hand setting and hitting
These extensive playing and coaching backgrounds provide athletes with additional perspectives, personalized feedback, and high-level instruction. Together, they create a supportive, positive, and challenging environment where players can develop both their skills and confidence.
Athletes will participate in skill-focused drills, high-repetition training, and live gameplay designed to translate directly into match performance. Sessions emphasize ball control, passing, serving, movement, communication, and game awareness while encouraging players to compete, learn, and have fun.
